ROE is King in the Pro-Life Movement

A prominent pro-life/pro-family group in Indiana just wrote on their Facebook page in July 2019, about a recent pro-life proposal in Tennessee to ban most abortions. Indiana Family Institute said: “Tennessee lawmakers are adamant that passing legislation they know will get challenged all the way to SCOTUS is critical if we want to see Roe v. Wade overturned. What happens here could be historic.”

I see the same rhetoric over and over by pro-life and pro-family groups all across the nation. They say, “we gotta get the right pro-life bill to the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, this is our only HOPE.” Yes, they are putting all their proverbial “eggs in one basket” and placing their HOPE in the Supreme Court to do what is right on behalf of preborn children and overturn Roe.

This has been the methodology and “battle-cry” in the Pro-Life movement for the past four decades! This is why every four years, the possibility to appoint pro-life Supreme Court Justices is the #1 rallying cry to vote for the Republican Presidential Candidate. And how has this strategy, to overturn Roe v. Wade, worked for the Pro-life movement?

1. The Republican Appointed Supreme Court of 1992, ruled in favor of Planned Parenthood v. Casey 5-4 reaffirming a women’s “constitutional right” to kill her preborn baby. Eight of the nine Supreme Court Justices in 1992 were appointed by Republican Presidents!

2. Since 1969, Republicans have appointed 15 of the last 19 Supreme Court Justices and abortion remains the so-called “law of the land.”

Now, lets look at Donald Trump’s recent Supreme Court nominations. Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. Both men have said on record that abortion is a “constitutional right” and the “law of the land.” Not to mention, both Justices are strong supporters of “stare decisis”. Stare decisis is a legal doctrine that obligates courts to follow historical cases when making a ruling on a similar case.

This is why I believe Roe v. Wade will NEVER be overturned. I don’t believe the Supreme Court, who has already unjustly sentenced over 60 million preborn babies to death by their wicked rulings, will ever REPENT and acknowledge their bloodguiltiness. The Supreme Court Justices understand the implications and their acknowledged complicity in “feticide” if they overturn Roe.

Going forward: I believe in the next five years or so, the Supreme Court will reaffirm a women’s “constitutional right” to murder her child on a third occasion. Remember, this was the ruling in 1973 and 1992. This is why the whole methodology to overturn Roe is a waste of time. Instead of placing ourselves under king roe, how about we place ourselves under KING JESUS and fight this battle his way! Lets start by encouraging our elected officials to defy unjust court rulings and laws which trample the rights of the most innocent in our nation! Every state should have an abolitionist bill to abolish abortion be released! Perhaps, if we repent of our failed methodologies, and embrace God’s Word on how to fight this battle (doctrine of the lesser magistrate) God will bless our efforts and we will see this bloodshed ended in Jesus’ name!
